Newcomb Spring is proud to celebrate alongside Ed Asklar for his fifty years of employment with our company. From the beginning of his journey with us in 1971, Ed Asklar has remained a valuable member of our team.

Currently working as Coiling Department Supervisor at our Connecticut location, Ed is keen to mention getting his start by working on a .135" Hard Drawn finishing project. In time, he moved into the Heat Treat department until eventually moving into our coiling division.

Ed was accompanied by his wife Candace to the celebration which featured catering, cake, and gifts. Don Jacobson, CEO of Newcomb Spring, was also in attendance, along with Dan Tetrault, the General Manager of our Connecticut location.

Remarking on Ed's legacy at Newcomb Spring, Tetrault said, "Today I am fortunate enough to congratulate Ed Asklar, who in 50 years of dedicated service, became a pillar of our Newcomb Spring family."
